# monid resources get

> Get a resource, with its live external links joined in.

Get a resource, with its live external links joined in.

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
monid resources get -r <resource-id> [--no-external] [--json]
```

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Required | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `-r, --resource-id <resourceId>` | string | Yes | Resource ID to look up |
| `--no-external` | boolean | No | Skip fetching live external link details |
| `-j, --json` | boolean | No | Output as JSON |

## Examples

```bash theme={null}
# Get a resource with external links
monid resources get -r 01HXYZ...

# Get a resource without external links
monid resources get -r 01HXYZ... --no-external
```

## Behavior

By default, the command fetches each external link in parallel and joins them onto the resource. Per-link failures are captured so the base resource still renders. Use `--no-external` to skip this step.
