# monid whoami

> Show the authenticated user and workspace.

Show the authenticated user and workspace.

## Usage

```bash theme={null}
monid whoami [--workspaces] [--json]
```

## Flags

| Flag | Type | Required | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `--workspaces` | boolean | No | List all workspaces the caller belongs to |
| `-j, --json` | boolean | No | Output as JSON |

## Examples

```bash theme={null}
# Show authenticated identity
monid whoami

# List all workspaces
monid whoami --workspaces

# Output as JSON
monid whoami --json
```

## Behavior

* Requires an active API key configured with `monid keys add`
* Without `--workspaces`, shows the current user identity
* With `--workspaces`, lists all workspace IDs and slugs in a table
* Update notices are printed when available (suppressed with `--json`)
