# Compare Products Using Customer-Review Evidence

> Use Monid to compare products using balanced review samples, recurring tradeoffs, and clearly labeled uncertainties.

Give your agent product URLs and what matters most to you. It uses Monid to collect a balanced review sample, separate variants, and return a recommendation grounded in cited reviews.

<Tip>
  **Example question:** Which of three electric coffee grinders under \$150 is easiest to live with day to day?
</Tip>

## Try it yourself (give it to your agent)

```text Prompt theme={null}
Use Monid to compare three electric coffee grinders under $150 using customer-review evidence.
Ask for the three Amazon product URLs, my country, brewing method, and whether noise, cleaning, counter space, or grind consistency matters most. My research budget is $2. Inspect the review tool's pricing and limit semantics; cap the collection instead of assuming a page limit means a review limit.
Collect a balanced sample across ratings and recent dates. Separate product variants, remove duplicate reviews, and group recurring tradeoffs. Include positive counterexamples instead of selecting only complaints. Treat review anecdotes as evidence of experiences, not a measured defect rate.
Return a recommendation for my priorities, a comparison of the main tradeoffs, source-linked review examples, sample sizes, and uncertainties. Mark prices as unverified if current listing prices were not retrieved. Report spend and do not purchase anything.
```

## Potential tools

* [**Amazon**](https://monid.ai/tools/amazon): Apify's `/web_wanderer/amazon-reviews-extractor` retrieves review text, ratings, variants, dates, and available verified-purchase metadata.

The agent compares the review evidence against your requirements.

## Example output

<Note>Names, counts, and details below are fictional. Real responses include actual sources, costs, and generated files.</Note>

> **For your priorities, I would shortlist Grinder B.** In the collected sample, reviewers more consistently described it as **easy to clean** and **compact enough to leave on the counter**.
>
> * **Grinder A:** Stronger praise for adjustment options, but several reviewers found daily cleaning fiddly.
> * **Grinder C:** Suitable for occasional use, although noise complaints appeared in **both positive and negative** reviews.
>
> These are patterns in the reviewed sample, **not measured reliability statistics**. I kept different product variants separate and included examples that contradict the main themes. Please confirm **current prices** before buying.
